The Open Water Programme

The Open Water programme has now released its Market Architecture Plan 2. This sets out key recommendations on the new market.

Whilst there is still a lot of work to do before the market opens, we welcome the document as a key milestone in its delivery.

The report urges water companies to start preparation now, prior to the market opening in 2017.

It also covers:
-Creation of a market operator
-New market arrangements
-Governance
-Payment terms and credit arrangements between water wholesalers and retailers
